Destry & Cory 7/10/10
Still one of my favorite couples to date, Destry & Cory were married out at the beautiful
Blue Rooster Bed & Breakfast. A few details that I enjoyed about this wedding were:
Destry’s Centerpiece idea and color scheme: We went with ivory linens complimented by fuchsia and lime green accents. She used a combination of reused baskets and milk glass, which were way ahead of their trend now! I still remember the morning at the Oregon Wedding Showcase when Destry walked up to my booth and said, “I think I need you…” I was so lucky to get someone so easy going and organized already, she didn’t really need me all that much!

This wedding had some really fun Project Blocks!
Well Wishes Tree
Guests were asked to put “Tips in a Jar” on the Wedding Well Wishes Tree. Destry had this great stamp that she used to make the tags. We wrote a little explanation poem and you can see how the tree filled with advice throughout the evening.
Table Seating & Escort Cards
A favorite band of the couple, Journey, which lead us on a theme for Table Seating. We named each table after a Journey song and attempted to place guests that best “fit” at each table. We then used corks to represent the proposal story as a part of their “journey” together too.

Centerpieces, Favors & Table Numbers
Tables were set using a collection of baskets that Destry had been collecting as well as her collection of Milk Glass. Destry was also super crafty and made each guest a ceramic gift to take home which we put at each place setting.
Guest Activity
I Spy Camera Games: This is the Wedding that started it all! We had this fun idea for people to be entertained during the cocktail hour and the I Spy Camera Game was born! I originally wrote my first poems for Destry & Cory and the rest is history! You can now get many different options on my Etsy
