The Wedding Morning is an incredibly memorable part of your day. You’re there with all your girls in that Bridal Dressing Room and you’re getting ready for the most amazing day to follow! {See more on How to Coordinate your Bridal Dressing Room HERE.} Preparation is the key to success so for that you must have a few essential things handy to make that morning efficient.
How to Pack for your Wedding Morning

Essentials…
- Full-Length Mirror
- Makeup Chair
- Garbage Can
- Closet or Garment Rack to hang dresses
- Multiple Outlets
- Good Lighting for Bridal Pictures!
- Before & After Props {just for fun!}
Necessities…
Now, these items are not going to be in the Venue’s room for you, but you should delegate them to your bridesmaids. These are some bigger things that make your morning a little better, or even smarter…
- Music system (complete with a pre-made playlist of the bride’s favorite jams)
- Fabric Steamer for dresses (lint rollers too!)
- Bottled water
- FOOD- enlist one of your close friends, or even an usher, groomsmen, cousin to “surprise” the bridal party with breakfast that day. Stick to a fruit tray and maybe some light weight cheese/deli options. Nothing that can spill/stain/stick in your teeth
- Emergency Bridal Kit: Bobby Pins, Tampons, Band-Aids, Floss, See how to make one HERE
What the Bride Should Bring
Your Project Zero Bag
Put this stuff in this bag:
-
Bridal Jewelry
-
Garter
-
Perfume
-
Shoe box at the bottom of the bag
-
Veil/Headpiece around the dress hanger inside the garment bag
-
Bridesmaid Photo List (See Bridal Dressing Room Post)
Other things you’ll want to bring with you that morning:
-
The makeup your artist told you to go buy, right down to the false eyelashes (a photography must)
-
Thank you cards- to write to those last minute people who bring you unexpected surprises that morning.
-
Any adorable things that were gifted to you over the wedding planning process that should be in pictures like “Bride” robes, sashes or this amazing white zip up my sister bought me! See the Bride to Be Etsy Gift Guide HERE
-
Picture of your groom- this will sound silly… I did this for two reasons: I was so anxious to see him I needed him there, and I felt nervous about seeing him, so with his picture there it was like he’d already seen me! Totally calmed my nerves all morning knowing he was right there. Totally silly, I know. It’s a big day and whatever works!
-
All of your personal care stuff
-
HOT SUMMER WEDDINGS- Baby powder to put between your legs under that greenhouse of a dress! Trust me… And an extra pair of shoes (store in a freezer if you can)

Contact solution/eye drops, it’s probably going to be an early morning and a long day. You don’t want itchy red eyes all day.
That’s a great one! I wear contact lenses too! And that was definitely necessary!
A small clutch to hold touch-up makeup etc. the MOH can be responsible for it throughout the night.
Good one! You can also leave it under your Sweetheart table during the reception!
This is all perfect!! I will definitely be bringing allergy/sinus medicine as I always get seasonal allergies and I don’t want to feel crappy on my big day!!
