Hello there Brides and Grooms! Are you planning to have a Candy Buffet at your reception this year? If so you’re going to want to take this Heads Up planning tip and scoop up all the clearance candy that is now in stores!
Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday to capitalize on the post holiday sales. What other holiday accommodates a wedding theme more? What with all the hearts, “I love You” signage, roses and white pink and red.
There are many things you could be looking for right now in stores that have been marked down after the holiday:
- If your wedding colors are red, pink, white, fuchsia and even some black and silver you’re in luck! You may even get lucky by finding a little purple out there!
- Be on the look out for cupcake wrappers, colored candies, chocolate molds or anything you can serve to guests as favors (that will still be edible)
- Be thinking of goodies that will save well for the next 4-6 months that you could put in your guests welcome bags or even pamper bridesmaid gifts: candy roses, and miniature champagne bottles, bath fizzers, candles, etc. Anything that is heart or otherwise “lovey” shaped.
- You can even find some party decorations on sale now in the above colors that aren’t specifically Valentine’s Day.

Candy Warehouse– All colored candies imaginable. At least look here so you know what price to beat out in the stores!
