Imagine that today is exactly 2 weeks prior to your Wedding Date. Look around your house and tell me where all of your wedding decorations are. Where is your dress? Are your shoes with it? How about your Marriage License? Where is that? Eventually, all of these things you’ve been collecting, making and buying for your big day will have to MOVE into your Wedding Venue and be set up by your Team. Are you ready?
Moving into your Venue
It is totally okay if you’re not all packed up and ready to go. That is exactly why I’m writing this post and hosting the Workshop. This step is, believe it or not, where most wedding days begin to go wrong… 2 weeks before the wedding even happens. These 2 weeks right before your wedding are crucial to its success and how well your Setup Team, Decorations Crew Leader and Awesome people will do. So when you attend this workshop, take a lot of notes!
Preparing to MOVE your Wedding
This Workshop is all about taking your Wedding Decorations and MOVING them to your venue. In this first video, which is a prerecorded video from The Project Block System Ecourse, I say, “Hooray! You did it! Your Projects are all packed” and ready to go. It’s okay if you have no idea what I mean, we’ll get to that. The bottom line is that you too have things packed and ready, but they’re called something different in your Wedding Back Office.
Either way, whatever you’re calling your organized decorations, we’re going to teach you how to make a plan for the 2 weeks before your wedding date to MOVE it all.
HEADQUARTERS >>
In these videos, you’ll hear me mention Project Block 30 or “Headquarters” This is the room or area at your Wedding Venue where everything is stored, and your coordinator works out of. I’ll put a link below with more info.
RESOURCES>>
In this video, I talk about post-it lists and dry erase envelopes. I’ve put together a resources list for you over on the blog that includes any items I show you.

Assigning your Decorations Crew Leader
The next part of this Workshop covers assigning your Decorations Crew Leader. You’ll want to find a person who is not in any of your formal pictures or who has many social obligations during the wedding. This person will help you communicate with your Awesome People and Vendors as they begin to arrive.
Organizing your Awesome People
The next video is FULL of information and you may even want to watch it twice. I do mention a TON of Project Blocks though and you may get a bit lost if you’re not already speaking Project Block Language.
Here is a helpful blog post resource that will take you to a list of ALL the Project Blocks in the System so that you can at least know what I’m referencing when I rattle off the numbers.
Building your Setup Structure
And finally, the last video is the most valuable, as it covers the golden schedule 😉 I’ve included my example Game Plan in that Google Drive Folder I share in the Workshop.
