Welcome to Day 4!
Guest list | Begin thinking of who you want to invite {I’m sure you already have}
More importantly, think about how many people you can afford to invite. This is where it gets a bit tricky. Things to consider include: How many people does your venue hold? Will you allow children? Will you pay for a daycare provider on site if you don’t want children at the ceremony? How expensive will food be with a lot of people? Let’s get everything down on paper before we start tossing around the verbal invites.
TODAY: Make an Excel Spreadsheet. I highly recommend using a spreadsheet because of the calculation features. Make these columns:
Last Name | First Name | Guest Name | Address | City, State | Zip Code | # Invited | # RSVPed |
From here you’ll be able to quickly create a row for everyone you think might come to your wedding and be able to get a quick count. Make an auto calculate SUM formula at the bottom of your |#Invited | column so you can see how big your guest list actually is. Ex. =SUM(G2:G24) Remember, not everyone will come, but if they did you don’t want to be overwhelmed!
