My husband is a golfer, and we did not get married on a golf course. Instead, when we were thinking of fun things to have our guests do, we decided to rent a miniature golf course. Our wedding was rather early in the afternoon, 3:00 pm, so there was quite a bit of time between the ceremony and dinner. We also invited quite a few children and wanted to keep them away from the pond!

Renting a Miniature Golf Course for your Wedding Reception
This task proved to be more difficult than we had originally thought. We went through several companies online that just didn’t have the sort of miniature golf course we were looking for. It was either too simple, too small, or too “ugly” for our wedding needs. We envisioned something that would not only entertain our guests but also add a special charm to the overall theme of our wedding.
After searching tirelessly, we began to feel a bit disheartened by the lack of options available. It seemed as though the perfect miniature golf course was just out of reach. We considered various alternatives, from DIY options to even bespoke installations, but nothing seemed to align with our vision. The thought of not having that unique entertainment we imagined was disappointing, as we had hoped to create a memorable experience for our friends and family.
Fortunately, we were able to subcontract the miniature golf course rental, finally through our DJ, Casey, from Destination Events here in Eugene. We discussed our challenges with him, and he offered to help us navigate this seemingly insurmountable task. Casey’s expertise and network proved invaluable; he had connections and experience in the local event scene that we simply didn’t have.
He found someone up in Salem who had one we liked, and then he made all of the arrangements for us, which was quite the lifesaver! The fact that Casey took the initiative to coordinate everything gave us peace of mind amidst the whirlwind of wedding planning. Not only did he handle the logistics, but he also ensured that the course would arrive on time and be set up correctly.
On the day of the event, Casey picked it up, and he even brought it to our venue and set it up for us. The miniature golf course turned out to be a hit, full of fun and laughter. Watching our guests, young and old, enjoying each hole as they cheered each other on was a highlight. It added a personal touch that made our wedding day even more special, creating lasting memories for everyone involved.
