Video- 1- Project Block 28 First Looks Lecture.mp4
There are going to be so many amazing details you’re going to want your photographer to catch; let’s make sure you remember them all. This Project is all about how YOU can be awesome for your photographer. All the way from not asking them to copy Pinterest to how you should pack your getting-ready bags…let’s prepare for picture-taking!

Building your Worksheet
Image:
You can pick your most epic inspiration
Ingredients:
List all your detail shot P28 Bag/Box items that are not already in your Project Zero Bag. {Garters, shoes, etc. will all be in your Project Zero Bag} I’m referring to Invitations, Ring Box Props, or other sentimental items and props for pictures. Check them off as obtained when you have them packed.
Prior to wedding
- PHOTOGRAPHY TIMELINE
- Decide on a First Look or not
- Decide if the First Look will be documented or private
- Decide if there are any First Look Props or Gifts {See you at the Altar Moments}
- Build your Photography Timeline with your Photographer’s input
- Plan to take as many pictures before the ceremony as possible
- FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY ROSTER
- Meet with your Photographer to build the Family Photography List.
- Make your Roster by word processing it based on your Photographer’s List.
- After your Roster is made, tell everyone who is in pictures
- Even tell those who are not… avoid an awkward big-day removal
- Tell them where and when they must be somewhere
- Print 3 Copies of your “Roster” 1= Photographer, 1= Assistant, 1 = Liaison
- Appoint a Photography Liaison
- Inform your Liaison(s) and give them a Roster Copy
- Add a line into the Ceremony Script, “The couple would like all family members to meet them over by the big oak tree [insert your own obvious meeting place] for a few quick pictures before the reception”
- MUST SHOOT LIST
- Gather all of your important Wedding Detail Shot items into a P28 Box/Bag
- Tell your photographer where they will be for when he/she arrives
- Send a picture of the whole in a text message so they know what to expect before the wedding
- This way your photographer knows what to look for and can spot any reminders
- Communicate with your photographers and inform them how important it is to YOU that they eat.
Staging Materials
You may possibly need shade for waiting family and water bottles for elderly or pregnant mommas.
Wedding Day Set Up
Get your Liaisons into position and make sure you have a shaded area for people to wait in if you’re taking pictures in the hot sun.
- You check off when the Project is Done, Packed, and Ready to Go
- You check off when this Project is loaded into a Big Day vehicle
- You assign the Person who is setting HQ up for you {if different than the Person in charge}.
- Name your Person in Charge. He or she will then take over the Worksheet and check off the remaining Wedding Day Set Up boxes as they are completed.
