Inspire Others...

…August, 2014…
I had the most wonderful experience working with Tiffany & Corey! So many ideas, details and Project Blocks to settle on, create and then display. Their wedding day was divided between two amazing locations, Tiffany’s church, St Mary’s in Eugene and then to Pfeiffer Vineyards, in Junction City, Oregon for a sunset reception. The church being beautiful already as well as seasoned with ceremony experience, meant that most of my involvement was spent out at Pfeiffer setting up the reception. It is alway a bit nerve-racking to be styling a wedding with the bride and groom never seeing it until they arrive on site for the first time for their reception! However, I think that they were pleasantly surprised when they arrived…

One of my absolute favorite pieces of my job is getting to work with creative and inspiring people. Tiffany had many beautiful ideas for her vision and themes which changed and were adjusted a few times between the time I was brought on and the wedding day. The challenge (which I also love) was finding a way to take all the details and things she told me she loved and put them together into one comprehensive style. A few key features that were repeated among all her Pinterest boards were ferns, gold, navy blue, the theme, “To the Moon & Back…” and succulents. With those my team and I assembled our version of a woodland, under the stars, romantic evening with a twist of bohemian elegance. How did we do? Most of these pictures are taken by myself or my team, the pretty ones are

When the couple arrived (in this amazing hot rod I might add) I wanted the first thing they saw to be a “woodland entrance” very welcoming and lush so we used fern garland and suspended vine orbs with gold sequin ribbon. Almost a little “Gatsby”… we did this to all entrances to the Pfeiffer pavilion

Above: A few wedding details captured by Allie Nicole, a wedding guest, who graciously allowed me to use them on the blog! Thank you!

Bridesmaid Krytsal utilized her talents to make ALL of these amazing chalk board signs you’ll see throughout the wedding! This first Welcome sign included the wedding party and was displayed at the church, then brought out to the reception.
This second Welcome sign included a schedule of events and was styled inside the main doors
Across from the program chalk board was the wine barrel with a beaded tree which would later display the succulent favors at the end of the night.
Behind the tree was a welcome table with guest book including a signing mat for a portrait taken by Stevi Sayler Photography during an engagement session for the couple.

Cornucopia catered a vegan friendly menu that was exquisite. I very much enjoyed working with them! They accommodated the time line very well and were incredibly efficient.

The couple on their way to the Sweetheart table

Guests sat at ornate tables with gold chargers, glitter table numbers (a GEG Project Block) centerpieces made by friend Lisa, brass and gold candle sticks, mercury glass goblets and vine orbs to tie together the entry way ambiance.

A main focal point that we wanted to create was a fern and vine chandelier to hang over the dance floor. A final effort to give the wedding that forest canopy under the stars feel for the bride and groom. Handmade by me, and mostly my husband, we wrapped it in battery operated LED Christmas lights that we bought from a previous bride in our Team Wedding Program so that it would light up. My husband then insisted he come out to Pfeiffer to help set it up perfectly.

The couple then snuck off for a few beautiful Golden Hour pictures in the vineyard…

They then returned to cut the cake made by Market of Choice

A favorite detail of mine… displaying wedding pictures of your parents cutting their cakes on your table to pay a “sweet” homage to your role models. See the Project Block here

Guests flitted the night away under the stars by enjoying wine and conversation around Pfeiffer’s many ponds at patio tables. They enjoyed lawn games built by the couple and of course a photo booth (with Joel Bazzle) who captured priceless memories.

A sparkler send off ended the night with flare!
