What you might be thinking is a fun way to do a guest book before the wedding, might actually be better off as your Project Block 11. This week we’re talking all about Keepsakes and the items from your wedding that last a lifetime. Here is the Progress Checklist for all this week’s Project Block. Have all these items checked and DONE prior to starting the next Project Block Week so you stay on track.
Week 14 Progress Checklist
- Review the Week 13 Progress Blog Post again
- Watch the Teachable Lecture for Project Block 11
- KEEPSAKE
- Determine your keepsake(s)
- Buy them or their supplies
- Purchase the proper pens and/or inks/paint required
- Create a sign with clear directions
- PRE-SIGNING
- Have your keepsakes prior to your Bridal Shower(s)
- HAVE IT at the shower for guests to sign
- Tell them it will be at the wedding, so don’t sign it twice 😉 It’s the same one
- Bring it to the Rehearsal Dinner
- Assign a Liaison to monitor it and bring it to the wedding the next day.
- Ask your Rehearsal Dinner Hosts if they don’t mind the extra attraction.
- Have your keepsakes prior to your Bridal Shower(s)
- WEDDING DAY LIAISON
- Assign someone to monitor this Keepsake(s) throughout the cocktail hour and reception
- Ask him/her to put it somewhere safe before the wedding ends for proper storage overnight.
- This might be in someone’s car to take home.
- FOLLOW UP Projects
- P0- Follow up with Bridesmaids & Groomsmen about fittings, shoes & accessories
- P1- Finish any directional signage or Parking Lot assignments
- P2- Finalize your Program Drafts {still too early to print}
- P3- Update your Wedding Registries
- P4- Review the next draft of your Ceremony Script
- P5- Assemble any favors and make any signs
- P6- Start breaking in your wedding shoes
- P7- Look into Photobooth Props
- P8- Start buying utensils, napkins & plates if you must provide them
- P9- Check in on the alcohol situation and purchasing progress
- P10- Assign seating to guests you know are attending and/or make your reserved signs
