Project Block 18 is all about the fun that happens after dinner but before the rest of the reception. It is a waiting area of sorts. You will have people finish eating long before the last person and this Project is where you keep those individuals entertained. Here is the Progress Checklist for all this week’s Project Block. Have all these items checked and DONE prior to starting the next Project Block Week so you stay on track.

Project Block 18 Progress Check

  • Review the Week 19 Progress Blog Post again
  • Watch the Teachable Lecture for Project Block 18
  • LAWN GAMES: Contact and connect with everyone who owns a lawn game that you want to borrow.
    • Either obtain it now or get it from them a few weeks before the wedding.
      • Bonus, if you are getting married at a private venue have the owner go drop it off there any time before the wedding!
  • KIDS STATION
    • Get a headcount for total kids and age range
    • Determine if you want to do individual kits or a group table/station
    • Purchase supplies for individual kits
    • Purchase supplies for a group table
    • Designate a location for this P18 at your venue
    • Identify a few P18 Liaisons who can rotate shifts for supervision at a group table
  • PHOTO BOOTH
    • If this is not already your Project Block 7, reserve one for the reception.
      • You can also extend your contract through P7 to P18 times to keep both.
    • Call, reserve and sign a contract
    • Schedule delivery and pick up.
  • RENTAL
    • You may rent something bigger: Mini Golf, Bounce House, etc. Determine where it will go.
      • Call and make a reservation
      • Schedule Delivery and Pick Up
  • VIDEO BOOTH
    • Having a Video Booth for P18 is a great way to snag candid clips for your main video
    • Consider WedIt for candid videos
      • Assign a Liaison to collect and return the 5 cameras
      • Assign a few key people to use them throughout the night
  • LIAISON
    • Follow up with everyone you’ve assigned to be a liaison on the wedding day.
      • This is a great time to start meeting up with these individuals and go over their jobs.
      • Start making a few calls and schedule some meetings.
