Photography is one of the biggest decisions for your Wedding Day as the pictures are what you hang onto for years to come. Once you’ve hired your amazing photographer team, there is still a lot of planning to be done with them. Here is the Progress Checklist for all this week’s Project Block. Have all these items checked and DONE prior to starting the next Project Block Week so you stay on track.
Progress Checklist
- Review the Week 27 Progress Blog Post again
- Watch the Teachable Lecture for Project Block 28
- PHOTOGRAPHY TIMELINE
- Decide on a First Look or not
- Decide if the First Look will be documented or private
- Decide if there are any First Look Props or Gifts {See you at the Altar Moments}
- Build your Photography Timeline with your Photographer’s input
- Plan to take as many pictures before the ceremony as possible
- FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY ROSTER
- Meet with your Photographer to build the Family Photography List.
- Make your Roster by word processing it based off your Photographer’s List.
- After your Roster is made, tell everyone who is in pictures
- Even tell those who are not… avoid an awkward big day removal
- Tell them where and when they must be somewhere
- Print 3 Copies of your “Roster” 1= Photographer, 1= Assistant, 1 = Liaison
- Appoint a Photography Liaison
- Inform your Liaison(s) and give them a Roster Copy
- Adding a line into the Ceremony Script, “The couple would like all family members to meet them over by the big oak tree [insert your own obvious meeting place] for a few quick pictures before the reception”
- MUST SHOOT LIST
- Gather all your important Wedding Detail Shot items into a P28 Box/Bag
- Tell your photographer where they will be for when he/she arrives
- Send a picture of the whole in a text message so they know what to expect before the wedding
- This way your photographer knows what to look for and can spot any reminders
- Communicate with your photographers and inform them how important it is to YOU that they eat.
