Inspire Others...

Project Block 2 Week is all about the Welcoming aspect of your wedding. P2 is a physical Project that gives guests information or provides them with tangible information, like Programs or instructions. When we talk about Project Block 2 we cover the very first Project where you’re BUYING items for the wedding decor theme. Everything you’ve bought until now, clothing, jewelry, save dates, invitations, and of course vendor payments are all big purchases for your bookkeeping, of course. But P2 is where we begin to collect decor. You must organize your house and prepare for everything to come in:

Set up Headquarters

You know those times when it’s better to start at the end so that you can better prepare for the beginning? This is one of those times… Headquarters, as it is known in our System, because on the Big Day, at the end of the night it is this space that sets everything up for success. That will all make much more sense when you read the BLOG POST

After you’ve read the Blog Post and understand the purpose of Headquarters at your Wedding Venue on the Big Day, think about translating that information into a usable space in your own home for PRIOR to the Big Day.

Now that you’re engaged, pretty little things will start trickling in… You may receive gifts or even that special “something borrowed” right away. Rest assured, we have a place for it! You certainly don’t want any of those little pieces wandering off or getting lost especially if your Big Day is more than a year away.

Find a place in your home, a closet, spare bedroom or even under the bed, where you can access it easily and everything will remain in one place.

Snag some grocery bags and start separating items into areas of your wedding where they will exist, Welcome Table, Altar, Wedding Night Suite, etc.
