Video- Project Block 26 Lecture.mp4
You may have escaped this one if you’re at a venue with built in toilets. This Project might still have some good information for you, though!
If you need to rent portables, this Project is a must-read. You’ll be glad we covered it for sure!

Building your Worksheet
Image:
There is no specific image needed for this Project Block. But you can select an image that best represents any styled pictures you want your photographer to snag. If you are not planning to take any pictures of this project, you can leave the image blank… It probably won’t be album-worthy… unless you do something cute?} There are a few inspirational ideas on our Project Block 26 Pinterest Board.
Ingredients:
This section is self-explanatory for the ingredients…. You need toilets. However, the assignment becomes who you rent them from and perhaps even the pieces you need. Then again… you can dress them up as much as you want!
- Toilets {how many?}
- Flood Light
- Generator or Outlets for power to lights or Luxury Units
- Directional Signage for guests to find the restrooms
- Hand washing stations
- Receptacles to dispose of paper towels and even the paper towels.
- You can also list here any Hospitality Items you choose to provide… {see below}
Prior to Wedding:
List tasks that need to be completed before the wedding day to ensure success including:
- RENTALS
- Research toilet rentals
- Determine where they will be on your wedding venue
- Determine proper lighting
- Arrange delivery and pickup
- SANITATION STATIONS
- Create a station sign
- Purchase stock & supplies
- Consider any decor or tenting
- HOSPITALITY
- Decide what to offer for hospitality {optional}
- Purchase stock & supplies
- Consider any floral arrangements for permanent restroom counter tops
Staging Materials:
Privacy Curtain {if necessary} with Panels & Sheppard Hooks
Bonus Staging- You could make a Hospitality Station if you’re up to it. This is a small table with a dispenser for hand sanitizer, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and even some mints! You could provide guests with some basic necessities for a long night like band-aids and even floss. Stay away from the Tylenol though… it’s not recommended to disperse medications at your event 😉
I recommend these little Sunscreen Individual Packets, which saved many a bald head at our wedding ceremony! And even insect repellent wipes!
Wedding Day Set Up:
Schedule Delivery for your Units the day before if possible
- You check off when the Project is Done, Packed and Ready to Go
- You check off when this Project is loaded into a Big Day vehicle
- You assign the Person who is setting HQ up for you {if different than the Person in Charge}
- Name your Person in Charge. He or she will then take over the Worksheet and check off the remaining Wedding Day Set Up boxes as they are completed.
