Video- Wedding Morning Timeline Video- mp4
Before we start this Workshop, I have an Excel Spreadsheet for you to download. This is the Excel I will reference in all the videos from here on out.
Etsy Download: Hair and Makeup Morning Schedule
The main video for this workshop centers around the Excel Workbook I just gave you. I first hosted this workshop during my Team Experience, so you will hear me reference the brides I was working with at that time.
This Hair & Makeup Morning Schedule Excel Spreadsheet will allow you to build your Morning Schedule. After downloading, select which situation best matches your schedule based on the number of people getting ready. Each Sheet of the Spreadsheet is named by the number of people getting ready.
*Reminder- You can sub Moms in as Bridesmaids if they are getting Hair and Makeup done with you. For Example, you may only have 3 Bridesmaids, but 2 moms will put you in the 5 BM schedule. Make Sense? If you are familiar with Excel Spreadsheet you can insert/delete rows and tweak formulas as needed.
Magic Travel Times
In these boxes, you need to list the exact time that you ladies and the gents need to drive away from wherever you’re getting ready and leave for the venue. If your Getting Ready location is a hotel or a home, basically any location not on the wedding site, you’ll need this time.
To calculate it, use Google Maps to determine the drive time from your Getting Ready Location to your Venue. From the First Look time, go backward this amount of time and add an additional 45 minutes for cushion. {30 of which puts you on site before the First Look and 15 of which gives you cushion time for traffic}
Example:

First Look is at 2:00 pm
Getting Ready Location is a 30-minute drive from the venue
So, 2:00pm – 30 minutes {Drive Time} = 1:30pm
1:30pm – 45 minutes {Cushion Time} = Magic Travel Time of 12:45pm
For the Groom, do the same formula but only a 30-minute cushion so that he arrives 15 minutes after the bride, so as not to interfere with the first look.
Bride & Groom Liaisons
These are the people you’re putting in charge of that Magic Travel Time. These people ensure that everyone is leaving by or has already left before the Magic Travel Time. These people are not in the Wedding Party and are not family, but instead are on the outside of the commotion and can pop in with 30-minute warnings. They are then the last people to leave the Getting Ready locations so that they know everyone is ahead of them. They may even stay behind to do last minute cleanups and check out so that the wedding party isn’t delayed.
