We’ve come to one of the most important Project Blocks, your Wedding Ceremony! This Project Block is broken up into 4 sub-projects: Aisle, Altar, Script, and Music. This week we’ll cover A & B and next week we devote to C & D. Here is the Progress Checklist for all this week’s Project Block. Have all these items checked and DONE prior to starting the next Project Block Week so you stay on track.

Week 8 Progress Checklist

  • Review the Week 7 Progress Blog Post again
  • Watch the Teachable Lecture for Project Block 4A & 4B
    • STRUCTURE: Draft your ceremony chairs layout
      • Assign the front row crowd
      • TELL THEM they’re in the front row and specifically which seat.
      • Make reserved seating signs or name signs
    • FLORIST NEEDS: Draw out your decoration ideas
      • Aisle Florals- Pew Bows, Garlands, Arrangements, etc.
        • Pro Tip: Make these arrangements your centerpieces after the ceremony. It’s a P4 to P22 Transition in Headquarters 😉
      • Altar Florals- Swags, Garlands, Arrangements
        • Pro Tip: Make these Swags go across your Sweetheart Table at the reception. It’s a P4 to P15 Transition in Headquarters.
      • Wedding Party Flowers: Bouquets, Boutonnieres, Flower Girl Petals
    • RENTALS: Do you need to rent chairs or does your venue have enough?
      • Call some rental companies for quotes
      • Talk about a Chair Transition: From ceremony to Reception
        • Who will move them?
  • Schedule Bridal Shower(s)
    • Ask Maid of Honor or Mother(s) to host
  • Book your Officiant
    • Get someone ordained online
  • Book your Videographer
  • Book a Calligrapher to handwrite Invitation Outer Envelopes
    • A professional is not required. Try to find a friend with nice handwriting
